Dr. Angela Halbert

Veterinarian

When I was a little girl and was asked what I wanted to be when I grew up my answer was a veterinarian. I have always had a passion for caring for animals, I like problem solving and have an interest in health and medicine.

I graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College with my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. I like all aspects of veterinary medicine with the human-animal bond, surgery, and pediatric medicine being areas of particular interest. My favorite thing about working at the clinic is being able to interact with our wonderful clients and I feel honored that I can help them care for their pets.

A fun fact about me is that I have a whole menagerie at home (farm), 7 dogs, 15 cats, 16 chickens, 8 horses, 1 donkey, 60 sheep, 30 cows, 7 alpacas, 3 llamas and 1 rabbit. When I’m not at work I enjoy cooking, baking, travelling, reading, exercising my dogs and horseback riding.
